Hi all,
Im looking at getting an mini display port to hdmi adaptor (so I can have a go at mixing video etc) for my new 13" mbp which has the thunderbolt port.
I can get one which only supports video or one which supports both video and audio.
My question is, is if I get the one which also supports audio will it have any effect on the sound output through VDJ, I'm using an NS6 so would it cause problems if sound is outputing through my NS6 like I obviously need it to while it's also trying to output through the new adaptor to the projector/tv? Or does simply running VDJ and the NS6 take over all audio functions automatically?

VIrtualDJ will always use the sound card(s) that you have chosen in CONFIG -> Sound Setup, which in your case would be the sound card in the NS6.
Adding an additional audio device to your system will not automatically change this.
