I hear that VDJ and Itunes work together how is this possable. I use itunes to rip my music does VDJ automaticly add things in if you use itunes I'm afrid I'm confused

Read the manual. You will be looking to tell VDJ where to find your iTunes music folder. Then add all of the files to your search database.
Also there is an iTunes option in the browser tree (lower left) that shows only your iTunes playlists. You will be able to see any songs in your iTunes playlist because the iTunes playlist specifies where the file is located.
As far as VDJ, you need to show it where your media folder is so that it can find the rest of your music. Works perfect, that is how I use VDJ and iTunes. All documented though...
