Topic: Vestax VCI-400 Best Skin?

I now have a new Vestax VCI-400 and want to use my full pro version of VDJ. I see there is no specific skin out yet for it and want to utilize it to it's best ability. I love my American Audio VMS4.1 and the skins that fully use all of it's features. Can someone link a specific skin here so i can download it?

Hi DJ RuDe,

I think it's very difficult to make a specific skin for the VCI, because this piece of hardware screams for individuell mapping.
So most of the buttons will have other functions mapped by the user.

I own this beatifull beast and have done some mapping, at this point there is nearly nothing like the out-of-the-box status.
In my op. the DJ needs the information on screen and not a replic of the hw in use. But that's just my op.

I use the CDS4 from phantom.

I agree with you.

I don't see the need to have a pretty picture of your kit on screen - you've got the real thing in front of you!

The more track browser visible, the better (IMO).

If you need visual aid/reference for your controls, use a printed overlay on the VCI-400.
 
i use the original vci 400 skin, this skin is perfect for me

The VCI-400 skin is included in the LE version. Install the LE version from the CD, and the skin will be installed in your Skins folder as well. Then delete the LE shortcut from your dekstop or simply use only Pro Full. You will be able to select the VCI skin in Config->Skins.
