Hello, i have windows 7 and had issues with old drivers and reinstalled new ones last month. now ive got more problems cos when i record on my hercules rmx, its quiet in the noisy bits of the tune and noisy in the quiet vocals or instrumentals.

Any idea why this is and more importantly how do i get rid of it?
