话题: Help with setup...

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

I just got all my required hardware to make myself a setup. However, I can't quite put my finger on how to get my headphones to play the next song thats on 'que', while having the current song still play out of the speakers AND NOT also come through the headphones.

My setup - I have two USB slots into my macbook,
USB 1: connects to my turntable.
USB 2: connects to my soundcard.
My soundcard: I have my speakers plugged into the L/R output 2, red/white outlets. From there the wire runs to my speakers.

Now do I have to plug my headphones into the headphones input on the soundcard? Or do I have to plug my headphones into my mac's headphone jack in order to hear the song that on 'que'?

The most I've got to work is have the song playing come through the speakers and my headphones at the same time. Other than that I have tried every single combination under the Virtual DJ prefrences from inputs to none, and single timecode. And also changing up the input/output drivers to speakers...headphones...built into audio etc etc. BOTTOM LINE every combination under the preferences will not let me hear the song in 'que' on my headphones without me hearing what's playing come through the headphones too.

If you have an external soundcard then there should be no issue.

Set VDJ up to use the laptop internal sound for cue and the external card (box) for master output.

The issue was the output had to be external mixer matched with 4-out card...now I can hear the cued song through my headphones...but I still have one issue. How come when I hit PFL on either side of my mixer you can only hear the left tables song through the speakers and only continue to hear the right mixers song through the headphones. The PFL control is not letting me control which side hears which song out of either the speaker or the headphones.

Thank you!
