Hi,
I am trying to use a Denon hs-5500 with OS X but in the audio settings in advanced config the sound card isnt being recognised and the only options for each deck are channels 1 and 2.
When I use the same device on my laptop with the windows version I get the 5500 sound card available and choice of channels 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, and 7 and 8.
Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be?

You may need to configure it for multi-channel audio. Some sound cards (Particularly older ones) may not do this automatically under MacOS.

(This is for configuring 4 channel audio, but if your card has more channels than this, simply choose the appropriate number.)
