My Virtual DJ Pro will not play the sound when I am trying to make music. I have the volume turned up all the way and my sound configuration appears to be correct. Note that samples play fine, but all of my MP3 files will appear to be playing, however no sound will play with them. How do I fix this problem?
EDIT: I want to add this problem only happens when I use my Midi controller. The controller is a Numark and is fully compatible; I have used it before without issue, and it still works for controlling things (ie all functions will work, but no sound plays)

First of all you need to provide details.
No one here knows what kit you're using or what your sound config is. You need to tell us.
Now you talk about having "the volume turned up". Which volume? On VDJ? On your controller? On your speakers?
You say that you THINK your config is correct. Well what is your config?
You say you have a Numark controller? Which one?

Yeah sorry about that, I was very tired last night and just wanted to get a thread up before I went to sleep.
My sound configuration is Input - None, Output - Single Output, Sound Card - Simple/Primary Driver
What I meant by volume being all the way up is that the volume on VDJ, my controller, and my speakers (both the speakers I usually plug in to my laptop, as well as the built in laptop speakers) were all on.
My numark controller is a Total Control usb connected MIDI. Like I said, all functions sync up with VDJ, but when it is plugged in, sound will not play OR record.
I also want to add that my laptop is on windows 7.
Any help as to what the problem could be is much appreciated.
