话题: Gemini + Behringer setup and I NEED HELP! - Page: 1

I have recently bought Gemini CDJ600 x2 and a Behringer DJX750. I have setup the mixer to the decks with RCA twin sided cables into Channel 1 and 2. I also have another RCA cable but on the other side has a jack which i plug into my laptop's headphone socket to use my mixer on my laptop.

Long Story Short
I don't know how to setup my decks to work with Virtual DJ, do i need an external soundcard if i don't already have 2 in my laptop?
I am awaiting christmas to get a stereo to which i can play 1 deck song through, and cue the other deck through headphones.
I don't know how to beatmatch on my decks as before i got the decks i was used to using VDJ 7 and my mixer.

Please Help if you can, any input is GREAT!

you will need VDJ 7 PRO FULL first to do that, home free wont let you as you will need time code CDs.

Yeah about that lol, im unable to log into that account at the moment as my email had been hacked, Is it possible to be said on this account?

Send a ticket to the support team to get your password for your other account changed, Im sure they will help you out.

Dont see why you cant use your other account though If your email was hacked??

I haven't used that account a while as i haven't needed assistance, i had forgotten the password for it and tried getting a recovery email...but my email is hacked, and i'd rather just get this sorted than fuss about some stupid account.

Ok thank you support staff, i also have a Sweex 7.1 soundcard in my home but was going to decide to get a maya44 instead, but would the sweex ext soundcard work before i take it back? Thanks

Not for timecode.

You will need a low latency capable sound card with atleast 2 stereo inputs such as the Maya44 or Hercules DJ Trim.

However, if the 7.1 card has a line input socket and ASIO capable drivers, you may be able to test it with a single timecode deck.

I now have the Maya44 Ext Soundcard, and also with my friend who has VDJ Pro Edition on his laptop as mine needs it once again, i have downloaded and burnt the CD timecode CD and put them into my CDJ60 (Right now i am trying a single timecode with no external mixer or Stereo)

INPUT - Single Timecode

OUTPUT - Single Output

SOUNDCARD - ASIO Driver > Maya44USBAudio ASIO Driver

I then went into Timecode Config and selected VirtualDJ CD in the Vinyl menu, but it's either Silence or 2-3% sound that comes up on the bottom right, I can turn any knobs on the interface and nothing changes.

I've tried every single Vinyl setting, i've followed the guide throughly but to no prevail. I can't seem to get anything to work

Right it's been 2.5 weeks since i got my maya44, i have followed the ESI MAYA44 timecode several times, i have tried to get VDJ support help but you take days to reply or never at all, technical chat is offline, i feel i may aswell just give up with this programme, not buy it and just try something else...i've waited patiently and im getting fed up.

Maybe you could post some links to screen shots of your sound configuration in VDJ, Maya44 USB control panel and your timecode config window (Showing the signal), so that we can see what's going on and can offer you some advice? Just saying it doesn't work isn't much help.

I'll try to get some screenshots together, and i did try giving information in my higher post just before being showed the ESI MAYA44 guide page. I understand that it hasn't been on because of the holidays and i understand that, but just before the holidays i was in a chat room for quite a while waiting.
