on my macbook pro i am running 2.16 ghz intel core 2 duo wit 3gb of memory way above spec for the unit. But the problem that i am having is that when i use vdj my music sound like it is in slow motion. the latecny is real off and i dont know how to fix. all my driver are up to date. i cant scratch with it at all and it driving me nuts cus i like the v7. using itch they run great. any body got any advise

So i finally talked to someone at numark about my problem and he gave me a list of thing to do and i did them. It fixed the songs playing slow but my scratches still have lag. I try every lag setting and still no good scratches. So they are going back to see if they can find the problem. Hope this info work for someone.
If you are experiencing audio dropouts on your Mac when using ITCH, please try some of the suggestions below:
Am I getting USB dropouts?
If you're getting audio glitches, clicks or dropouts, then there is a high chance you may be experiencing a USB dropout.
A USB dropout may be shown by the USB dropout indicator lighting in Scratch Live or ITCH, however this may not always happen.
What is a USB dropout?
Scratch Live and ITCH create what's known as an isochronous stream of audio data over the USB bus. That is, it is 'fed' at precise intervals from our USB buffer. If for some reason what is in the buffer can not be fed onto the bus, the USB dropout indicator will light, and more often than not, you will hear an audible click or glitch in the audio. This is a USB dropout
Troubleshooting a USB dropout:
There are only a few things that can cause dropouts on a Mac. Here is a quick checklist to run through that helps cure most Mac USB dropouts:
1. Make sure your Airport is off.
2. Make sure your Bluetooth is off.
3. Make sure your Screen Saver is set to 'never' come on.
Go to System Preferences > Desktop & Screensaver
4. Uncheck 'put hard disk to sleep when possible'.
Go to System Preferences > Energy Saver
5. Set your computer and display sleep settings to never.
Go to System Preferences > Energy Saver
6. Finally, make sure you are plugged into the "good USB port"*
*Macs generally have one good and one bad port; try connecting your audio interface to a different USB port and see if there is an improvement.
Disable Automatic Graphics Switching
If you own a new Mac with an i5 or i7 processor you will notice that under energy saver on system preferences "Automatic graphics switching"
Macs now have two graphics cards one is a lower spec internal card and one is a dedicated high end card. When the mac is plugged in it will use the powerful card by default and when it is on battery it will turn to the cheaper internal card to save power. During this change over it will momentarily power down the USB ports.
The problem is if your laptops power gets interrupted in a gig by accident it can lead to a scenario where you get a drop out or loss of connection with USB devices.
To avoid this possible conundrum go to system settings, energy saver and untick "Graphics Switching"
This can also apply to some windows systems but is usually controlled in the BIOS.
Reset the PRAM/NVRAM
1. Remove current driver using the “driver removal’ package in the standalone driver packages. Restart as requested.
2. Execute a PRAM/NVRAM reset according to the directions at this thread:

3. Reinstall ITCH 2.0.1. (This will also install the most recent Driver)

Switch to a 32 Bit Kernal
Please confirm whether or not you are booting to a 32 or 64 bit Kernal. Here is how you can check this: support.apple.com
