Topic: Recording what comes over the mic?

Hi there,

I have been trying to record myself and others whilst they are singing...but i only seem to be able to record the track and not what comes over the mic...Is this even possible?

Or is there an addon that i could get which would help?

Using VDJ Pro lastest version and denon 6000 if that helps.

The way I'm doing it is thru the LINE IN using my onboard AUDIO Soundcard.

Would you be able to explain a little more in details as to how you set that up please?
 
I take an OUTPUT ( I have in my mixer several outs, but I use the the TAPE OUT) AND FEED it into the LINE IN of the soundcard and use either VDJ or Audacity to record.
