I am looking to disengage sync after the button has been depressed. I believe this involves using the "shift" button on the Numark NS6.
I can't find the "Shift" button anywhere. I have downloaded the manual for using VDJ with the NS6 and it mentions the "shift" button but I don't believe it mentions where this button is.
Any help would be appreciated.

the shift button can be assigned to just about any button on the unit, open up your mapper in vdj and compare it to the buttons you have on your unit. so play is play and cue is cue etc... it you find a button that is not listed as it should be, then its a good hance thats your shift button.
it will show in the mapper as shift, but it will be assigned to something else.
for example on my mixtrack pro the shift button is mapped to the view and tick buttons.

The Shift/Delete button is the left most button of the Hot Cue buttons. Shift/Delete, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. You hold down the DELETE button to activate the SHIFT Command
