Hey guys, relatively new into mixing - excuse me if the answer is obvious!
I'm currently using a Mixtrack Pro with VDJ Pro 7 at the moment, is it viable to use my current setup with a DJX700 - and how would I go about connecting it all together?

Hiya,welcome to the forums, why do you want to use an external mixer at the same time as the mixtrack pro? If you really want to use it you will need an external soundcard unless its midi capable.

The DJX700 is not a digital mixer. You could connect the analog output from your mixtrac to it but this is only usefull if you are also using additional decks or CD players. The Mixtrack is an integrated unit that provides what you need for mixing and driving an amplifier/speaker system. The idea is to keep the equipment count down.
So in short. Yes you can! But only in a very limited way so why do you want to?

in addition to this, if its for the fx, then youd be better searching for your own fx and mapping thim to your mixtrack. the fx on behringer mixers are the worst ive ever heard, and most of the dont even work...i also dont like the sound the behringer mixers put out. its tinny as 20 year old fiat...

thanks for your responses guys. well I knew someone who was selling the DJX700 for quite cheap and thought how could I use it with my current setup - but now that I realise it will be of no great help.
