I recorded a mix the other day and wanted to break it up into individual tracks. When using the VDJ record cut feature, all worked as expected during the mix. But on playback, the tracks are not seemless. I get a very quick audio blip or hicup, NOT to be confused with a 2 second audio gap that some burning software leaves. This is a small fraction of a second blip, NOT 2 seconds.
So my question is, when I want to burn these tracks gapless to a disc, what is the best way to break a recorded mix into individual tracks and have it be perfectly seemless (no split second blip)?
Do you guys record the mix and break it up in editing later? Or is there a setting in the Record Cut that I might need to know about (different format etc)?
Right now it is set to record at 320bit MP3. I am playing mostly iTunes AAC + (256 bit .m4a) or some .mp4 music videos. Even with the different formats, the blip always hapens and sounds exactly the same on every track on playback in either MP3 or when they are burned onto a disc.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give. I am just trying to get a better demo together to get some new work.
