Hi - I don't know if anyone can help me with this problem.....
I have been using VDJ for the last 5 years and recently moved on to a Bose L1 Model II PAS with Tonematch mixer. I connect my Notebook to the Bose T1 mixer via USB and VDJ shows as having a Bose Sound Driver in it's audio settings.
I have a cooling fan I use for warm venues - When I switch the fan on it the mp3 stops playing and a high pitched noise I can only describe as a fire alarm type sound comes out of the PA. I have to go into the sound settings in VDJ and deselect the Bose driver - then reselect it again.... then the track will continue to play. That was the only time this strange noise/problem would happen...... until Sunday when it started happening randomly in a venue I have worked in for years with no problem....
Has anyone else had this with USB mixers etc? I had a Numark USB mixer & a Hercules RMX a while back but this didn't happen... I don't think it is the Bose equipment but I am wondering if it could be a software problem..... I have not had a chance to try it with an analogue connection between the notebook and the mixer....
The Notebook is an HP HDX 18T running windows Vista.....
