Hello.
Im a great user of VDJ and are very pleased with it.
I use it with a Denon HC4500 controller with a ACER laptop. Im planing on getting internet connection by 3G so i have internett connection on every job. This is so i can have spotify as bacup for songs requested that i dont have.
Some of my DJ friends use the same setup but with Mac. So when they play songs from Spotify the sond comes throug one of the 2 channels of the soundcard of the HC4500.
So my problem is, This dont work with my PC.
Could someone help me with this???
Im not trying to use Spotify on VDJ only to make it workl at the same time.

Are you running ASIO Spotify won't work. Mabye in a future update.

Old post but this might be helpful to someone, as it was vexing for me - I couldn't play Spotify, YouTube, iTunes or anything else while VDJ was open. Go to the Control Panel > Sound > click on the default device > Properties > Advanced > Speaker Properties > Advanced > uncheck the box "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device."

It's WASAPI. you can disable it in vdj options too.
