Hi there! It has been a while since my last post. Then again, it has been a while since my last upgrade. So here is my problem which hopefully someone here can help me with...
I had been using the HC4500 w/VDJ for a while and it worked great. I just added on a DN-S3700 with the intention of routing both units to an external mixer (DN-X500) and running VDJ using 4 decks. (Though only 3 would be used with this setup)
I am having a difficult time finding the right settings to get this to work. Right now there is no logic as to which deck is being controlled by which controller and from what output the sound is coming from.
Attached are two photos: one of the actual setup and a second of a diagram for the setup I am looking for. In writing, here is how it would go:
VDJ Controlled By USB Sound Output RCA Sound Input (to Mixer)
Deck 1 --> DN-HC4500 --> DN-HC4500 (Output 1) --> DN-X500 (Channel 1)
Deck 2 --> DN-HC4500 --> DN-HC4500 (Output 2) --> DN-X500 (Channel 2)
Deck 3 --> DN-S3700 --> DN-S3700 (Output 1) --> DN-X500 (Channel 3)
Let me know if you can help me figure out the proper settings for this one or if you need any more info.
Here is my computer config:
VDJ 7.0
Mac OSX 10.6.4

I am looking to do a setup of my current HC4500 midi controller (no CD decks) and two DNS-3700 players controlling the 4 deck Virtual DJ Pro 7 into a Denon X500 mixer Anyone out there that can help with a simple great sounding configuration and software config? Thanks
