I right-click on "My Music" select "recurse"...Looks good.
I then click on a "Virtual Folder"...looks good.
Click back on "My Music"...I expect VDJ to remember that I want to "recurse" this folder, but it does not. I have to right-click and select "recurse" again, and every time I click on a different folder. Is this by design?
I'd prefer "recurse" to stay selected on the folders that I tell it to.
Any ideas?

Yes, it's the default behavior. Recurse won't "stick" on the selected folders by design
