Sometimes when I drag a tune to a deck, VDJ only "loads" the first couple of beats in the window at the top, and only half of one bar turns green in the visual display between the deck and the transport buttons, instead of the whole tune. Then when the tune is played, the visual display only stays a couple of bars ahead of the playing position for the duratiuon of the tune.
Anyone know why this happens and how I can prevent it?

You are loading a track that is greater than the Max Load settings.
If Max Load is 10 mins and you load a track that is 13 mins then you get the results you described.
Go into the Config and look under the General or FAME settings for the Max Load option and change it appropriately.
I have mine set to 15 mins. If you have the RAM to spare then 'Always' might be an option, but I find 15 mins. is fine for me.
