After going completely batty for 2-3 days, I tried uninstalling VDJ (6.08). I couldn't uninstall it fully as the INSTALL LOG FILE was unavailable.
Just for the heck of it I went back in and was able to do video without the ugly error & it's error message rearing it's ugly head. I have a vague idea why it worked, but am content just to be happy that it did. :-)
