I just looked at picking up the new Intel Core i7 MacBook Pro...The only video out is a a Mini DisplayPort....Can I use the Mac Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter, then a VGA to S-Video adapter? If not, how do you run your video? Thanks.

Either should work, I use both vga and svideo.

Why would you use Mini Display to VGA to S-Video when you can just get a mini DVI to video adapter?

because the new macs don't have dvi connectors they are using display port.

I have same issue please help can i connect mini display to VGA then VGA to video & s-Video adapter.becoz on my Mac dont have mini dvi port it has hdmi output also but this output show me full screen virtual DJ ??

using the mini display port.. there is an adapter available to any other connector. I use the VGA and HDMI adapters
