I am sure it has been asked many a time, but as far as I could see none of what the search throws up got this working.
To lay out the situation :
-I am using onboard motherboard 5.1 or whatever sound card.
-Have the config menu set up as Inputs: None Outputs: Headphones Sound Card: 4.1 Sound card / Select Realtek HD Audio Output Output Channels: Master: Front output Headphones: Rear Output.
-Plug headphones into the black jack, and I get the Realtek choice of what to set them as. If I select Rear Speakers nothing comes out, and if I select Line Out I just get the master output. The PFL button does nothing.
Does anybody know what I am doing wrong? I thought this program looked sweet until I manage to fall down at this obstacle.
