I open VDJ by clicking on the desktop icon, the splash screen opens up and after a few seconds instead of loading up full screen it minimises to my taskbar and I cannot maximise it or even get into it. Ctrl Alt Del shows it is running. Anyone any ideas?? Thanks

It's a problem of size screen. Download the skin Mix Station - winxp on this website. Inside the zip archive you have a little .reg file to reset the skin to the default skin.
