Hi, so I am considering buying Virtual Dj, i've used it a couple of times at my friends place, and he said that if I want to buy it, I should consider using an External mixer. I have a Djm 800, which I would like to use
So My question is now,
Can i connect the Djm 800 as an external mixer (channels 1,2) (HOW???? ANSER PLZ)
Can I use channels 3,4 that I'm not using atm as Midi control ?
Will all the effects ect work ?
Please an answer would be nice =)
Also I think I need an external sound card?
What should I buy
my friend told me it has to be a 4.1 soundcard is that true?

- Of course you can hook your mixer up to your VDJ software.
- Yes, your mixer has 4 channels midi map so you can use whatever channel you wish as MIDI control.
- Yes, the effect of your mixer will work.
- Yes, you need an external soundcard at least 4 channels and you need a USB-MIDI converter to hook your mixer to your pc up.
