Hi all,

After going Pro, I created a set of mappings for both my Hercules controllerSteel and ReloopIE^2. The xml files live happily in the Mappings folder, so far so good.

When in the Mapper options Configuration tab one will see the VDJ nativley detected and your own definitions. Which will VDJ use. Do custom mapping get priority for instance ? Do I need to deactivate native detection...

Thanks !

Custom mappers will normally override the defaults.

To avoid conflicts, make sure that you only have one custom mapper installed for each controller under My Documents\VirtualDJ\Mappers

Thanks for confirming. I allready noticed the behaviour by making some must see changes to the xml file.

Seeing both mappings in the dropdownlist made me doubt on what the actual behaviour would be. All seems to work just fine running my custom mappings. Do you know of a way to start with the native VDJ mapping and save adjustments to a new xml file?
