im new to all this virtual dj stuff and need to know a few things. sorry if these are very basic!
first of all, i own a macbook. is it compatible?
also, if i get the interface to link to my cd decks, does this mean that wen i press sync on the laptop, will it sync the 2 songs on the decks? Thus meaning no need to beat match?
i basically want to dj off the decks and kinda use the decks as a remote to use the software, instead of having to use my mouse and keyboard.

What is important is what version of Mac OSX you are running and what audio interface you will use to link your CD deck. If you have a CDJ400 or an iCDX it is natively supported without en external sound card. All of this will determine what you can and can't do. Worst case you run Windows on Mac (bootcamp) but VDJ is perfectly capable of doing what you are asking it to.
