Can someone please explain how the play_mode pioneer/ numark command is utillised. Im struggling to see any diffrence with the syntax that i am using.

Having just tried this, it affects the behaviour of the buttons on the default skin and appropriate mapped keys/buttons as follows:
Numark:
cue_button = Paused: Sets cue point/stutters. Playing: Stops playback and goes back to cue point.
stop_button = Paused: Cycles through cue points. Playing: Pauses playback.
play_button = Paused: Starts playback. Playing: Stutters playback from where it started.
Pioneer:
cue_button = Paused: Sets cue point/stutters. Playing: Stutters playback from where it started.
stop_button = Paused: Cycles through cue points. Playing: Stops playback and returns back to cue point.
play_button = Paused: Starts playback. Playing: Pauses song.
