hi, kindly help me figuring out what's wrong.
i am using above mentioned VDJ version with a pro license and the latest windows 10 64bit drivers for my audio interface (v5.72.0).
windows recognizes the interface and can use it without any issues. whenever i have the interface plugged in (no matter which one of the two USB 3 ports my laptop offers) and i start VDJ, it freezes immediately or acts extreeemely slow. i have tried it with having set the interface to 48khz as well as and 44.1 khz, also trying out different buffer values. the behavior is the same when i open VDJ first and then plug in the interface.
sometimes, with the interface plugged in, after about 1 minute of freeze, it unfreezes and i get VDJ to start playing a song and it works for about 30 seconds, but then it just freezes again and the song plays along but eventually begins to stutter and then everything stops and task manager tells me the system is being used 100% by "system interrupts".
i have removed my USB drivers, restarted and let windows install them, no success.
i have tried a different USB cable for the interface, no success.
the laptop is quite old and got a fresh windows 10 64bit installation a couple of weeks ago and it runs with latest updates.
for perspective: years ago, under windows 7, i was using VDJ 7 home edition on the same laptop, and it handled external audio interfaces without issues.
what can i do?

Might be the fact that the Behringer sound card is also detected as MIDI device and needs to be ignore in order VDJ to properly release it.
Please do this..
With the Behringer connected, open VirtualDJ, goto Settings ->OPTIONS and press the small cog/gear icon at the very bottom right corner. https://virtualdj.com/img/370573/29893/Options.png
This will open the VDJ Home-Folder and a systemreport.txt file is going to be generated in that folder.
Open that file with a Text Editor and post its content here.
This will help us to create a small filefor you to put in the /Devices folder and ignore the MIDI device.
