Hello, I am using the Roland DJ-808, but not sure it really matters.
According to the documentation, from the pad panel I should be able to activate the slicer. However, this does not work. Is there anything that needs to be adjusted?

The Slicer is not some mode that gets activated. It's a Pads page in which the 8 Pads behave as described here. https://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/virtualdj/interface/decks/decksadvanced/pads.html#slicer
Dont you get the SLICER page loaded and shown in Skin when pressing SHIFT+ROLL mode button on the Roland device ?

Thanks - indeed, the Pads page does not get loaded (as opposed to other Pad pages, which do get loaded).
Slicer is fun, so it would be great to get it activated :)

By the way, I got this solved - it was just a matter of selecting the right pad page in the VDJ software...
