When setting "colorPicker" is set to "system" editing color from within Pads Editor "Color" tab does open selector as needed but never publish the selected color in action area
with "colorPicker" set to "gradient" or "simple" there is no problem

Yes you are right, I have to be more attentive :\
Windows 10 20H2 the selector working mode changed
Colors from gradient do not export automatically anymore not only with VDJ
Colors have to be stored as User colors (Custom colors) and have Lum > 0 in a way to be passed
Base colors going on working as usual

Gradients seem to work fine here as well.
Exception is indeed black (any color with lum 0) which indeed can't be selected, but I don't think that's really a problem for the pad editor.
