Lads just trying to map rb same as my sx but not working.
So trying to make padfx like my roll on Sx as my loop 4.8.16.ect for each pad.
Tried to use same text as on my sx but not happening any help cheers

So basically on my sx I have my roll pads 1_4 selected as loop in and out.
Button 1 loop in 4 in and out.
Button 2 loopnin 8 in and out ect
Treird using same command as in sx in controller settings but to no avail thank you

Best practice for Pads is not to change the actions of the Pads, (so leave those assigned as .. pad x) but change the Pad page the mode button is loading, using one of the default Pads pages or create a Custom one.
But from what i understand, if auto-loops are the actions you want, those are already available in the default mapping. The PADFX mode button loads the Loop Pads page so pads trigger loops of size depending on the selected page/bank. http://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/virtualdj/interface/decks/decksadvanced/pads.html#loop
You said that you want Pad 1 to be loop 4. There is no such page in the default Loop page though. The last page offers loops starting from 1 beat and reach up to 128 beats.
So probably you need something custom.
Can you describe how would you like all of the 8 pads to perform ?

I like the way my ddj sx us set up with pad on off loops 4::8:::16;;24 ECT but the script is var equal loopsize and do on but not working on rb

loop 8
if you're not in a loop 8 will switch on a loop 8, if you are in a loop 8 it will switch it off [aka loop 0].

I can remember a different syntax..
So all I do is hit button type in loop 8 save ect then button will stop /start when pressed

Ok guys tried to change the padfx1 buttons on my ddjrb to loop 4 ect but they remain on sane settings am I missing something
