Im trying to setup a external mixer with VDJ7, i have a Mackie Onyx 820i connected to my new Imac thru a firewire to Thunderbolt 2 cable. Im also using some external rack effects connected to the Mixer. Im getting music thru the mixer but using a mic and getting it in stereo seems to be a challange. Since apple took away the line in 1/8 jack everything i beieve is coming and going thru the thunderbolt port. Not sure if this is even correct or if i need to use the headphone out to RCA into the mixer but it still needs a way back into the IMAC. Any help would be great.
